Daily Affirmation
 

    Stop saying what you don't want to happen, instead start today to say what you want to happen.  Start with the affirmation below.  If this does not fit your style, then create your own.  

    Today I thankfully accept all of the good things that are coming my way.  Today is full of excitement, love, health and prosperity.  Today people are calling on me to be of service to them and I will respond by giving my best effort.  Today I will think and practice health in my life, refusing to accept anything less than perfect health.  Today I will accept the abundance and prosperity that is mine and willingly share it with others.  Today I will focus on the moment and not worry about the past or future.  Today I will spend in total enjoyment of what I do.  Today I will fill with loving thoughts and actions toward all other people and myself.  Today I will spend in grateful appreciation of all that is mine.  

Today, this hour, this moment is all that I have and I choose to live it in celebration!

 

Get Rid of Negative Thinking
 

    The truth is we live in a negative "cat kicking" world.  Most of what we hear and see from the media is depressing and it's easy to get caught up in it.  Most people would rather talk about the bad side of things more than the good side.  While it's true that positive talking and thinking will not solve all your problems, positive talking and thinking is much better for you than negative talking and thinking.  As Zig Ziglar says,  "Positive thinking won't solve all your problems, however, positive thinking will get you a lot further than negative thinking will".

     You need to set aside some time each day (at least 30 minutes) to listen to something positive and uplifting.  You might say, "Bill, I am so busy that I don't have time to do this".  If you are like a most people, you probably spend at least 30 minutes per day in your car driving to and from work, calling on customers, shopping, picking up the kids, etc.  Use this time to start doing something positive for your life and listen to positive and uplifting tapes, CD's or MP3's.  You may already have a collection of positive tapes & CD's collecting dust.  Start today to listen to them.
